Post by: Grubby on February 06, 2022, 09:08:20 PM
I have the below bat and suspect it’s storm damage. What are peoples thoughts?

Yes I definitely think it’s storm damage how old is it?

Most likely storm damage. Is the bat particularly dry?

And does the bat have any faint grey areas, with what looks like micro cracking?

It's definitely storm damaged! Don't know if heavy taping will help.

It does look like the result of storm damage, but I don't see the characteristic lightning bolt marks - I take it thus damage has appeared after some use?

Half a season old

SS so dryer than UK made bats (disclaimer based on opinions)

Haven't seen any grey areas on the bat.

Bat has been used for half a season.

It's not my bat. I'm just refurbing it and noticed the damage. The owner new nothing about it.
