Title: Remove rust/oxidisation from helmet grill

Just noticed that my sons Shrey Armor helmet grill has rusted/tarnished in places - obviously my son has left it damp in his cricket bag for the whole winter.

Any best tips for removing and not removing half the black paint with it!

I would just wipe it with a cloth and probably leave it.

If it's rust the only fix is sandpaper back to bare metal and repaint, as rust spots on anything will only get bigger over time.

You could use a product called Deox-C by Bilt Hamber.

Barkeepers friend is very good at removing rust
