Hi Guys,
Has anyone used any of the N Series kit that Newbury released last year?
Seems reasonably priced, and are obviously not going to pull up any trees, but as a bowler that very rarely bats it could be an option.
Let me know!

What sort of price range are they?

Hmmmmmmmmm, pretty sure that tells it's own story.
Reckon you could get something from a forum sponsor for £140 - £160 that would be far better and last far longer

I wouldn't recommend it. I can't speak about the complete kit but I bought a N series bat last season and it did not last even one season of minimal usage. See my post history for more details.
They are Indian made, and come with factory fitted toe guard and scuff sheet. The handle is very thin and the binding is of the poorest quality imaginable. The shape is your standrd subcontinent affair with a lowish middle. I think you are better off with a butterfly willow from any of the forum sponsor (or even a lower grade tbf).

If thats your budget I would suggest getting something off the for sale section here .
They are local to me and the quality has dipped in recent years with even their more expensive ranges seeing some quality issues - shame but I would look elsewhere

Thanks Guys!
Good to know. I may just dip my hand in my pocket and go local with Hawk!
