So I liked the first one so much I stayed in touch with James.
And my son's bat is an overdried lump which has spent more time being glued than used.
I mean it also the best bat I have ever held.

However. James reached out to me and mentioned he might have a cleft for me (my son).

It is an absolute gun too.
I showed it to an ex pro this evening and we both agreed my son isn't allowed it... 😂😂😂

Saw that one when I visited last Friday - got a beauty alright! Entry price is a bit higher than some - but the quality of willow and craftsmanship is exquisite, not to mention Matt and James' knowledge of willow and batmaking. That stain in the middle will make an almighty crack once played in I reckon. :D

He used it for the first time on Sunday and it is reasonable to say the fielders were doing the sensible thing and getting out of the way.

Thanks Chad, James was kind enough to give it a oil soak and treat it like a butterfly stain before finishing it and adding the scuff sheet. It has definitely made a difference.
