What are the brands/bats you have always wanted to try but for whatever reason you missed out, or haven't gotten around it...
The recent Warsop post go me thinking... in no particular order (maybe salix and keeley at top)..
- Warsop - just faded into the background and never thought about it... but at one point really wanted to try one
- Screaming Cat - like the classic shape but should have gotten one when i had the chance...
- Hunts County Insignia - another one that I never just get around to
- Keeley - Keep meaning to ever since Newbery days - had a Willow Twin (I think) one but sold it before even using in nets...
- Salix - look beautiful - but if i get one i want a top end one but the prices keep scaring me
- GN Vapour 1.3 - purely a fan boy of Babar and Rizwan
At 44 don't know if i will ever get through the list, as whenever it comes to buying a bat my head gets switched on for value for money, and the romanticism goes out of the window! :( :D
And now with Scott Cricket near me... my head is saying go to @jonny77 for my next bat, as I know I will get what I want and good service...
be interested whats on people's list...

Get Jonny to do you a SCat replica, two bird with one stone!
I'm gutted I never had the chance to use a classic Newbery before their standards dropped. Love the shapes they used to put out, Mjolnir is a particular favourite.

In no particular order:
1) Warsop Inspire 152
2) Choice Plantagenet
3) H4L Hattori
I’ve seen a few Choice and Warsop bats around the Essex/Herts leagues and they have all been guns….not quite sure why I haven’t got round to buying one. Always loved the Hattori shape but never got round to getting one….I’d imagine they are pretty rare to find nowadays.

- Hell4Leather pro bat
- Aussie Gray Nics
- UK made Gray Nics
- Custom Scott
-
Some form of massive overdried Pakistani beast with a proper handle is about all I have left that I really want to try.

I had a Hunts County insignia, it was a superb bat and was still used by my nephew for his school bat until about 2 years ago, eventually split down the middle after about 15 years of use!
I know use one of @jonny77 Scott bats, as does my son and two of my team mates. hand on heart they're some of the best bats I've personally seen/Used. My lads is only 2.7 and it's a cannon! he's clearing boundaries with ease.
-
- UK and Aussie GNs
- H4L
- Scott Cricket Bats
- Stealth Cricket
- Salix
-
@jonny77 there you are. Let me know when you have a special cleft in and I'll get an insignia shape ;)

Custom Scott
Keeley
H4L (Butterfly?)
Gray Nicolls (UK/AUS made)
World Class Willow
Pro DSC - love the look of that special engraving they get
Look at us all, building our early Christmas lists! :D

I saw a Rob Pack on Instagram that looked great, not many I haven't tried but Rob is one I'd like to. At 49 with dickey shoulders and elbows and a couple of special GN bats in my bag I can't really justify it but you never know, I am prone to a little late night impulse buying.
-
I bought a rob pack aged 49 mate, can’t recommend highly enough.

Gotta say for me it's Scotts Bats and A2 as brands I'd love to get my hands on.

Maybe able to help with the later shortly :D

Are you going to be retailing for A2? I bought one a few years ago and it is an absolute gun. Always wanted another but couldn't be bothered with the hassle/extra cost of ordering from India.

Trouble is ordering those anywhere into the EU from either India or UK is equally annoying. I'd either have to fly out to the UK or India to get one.
-
Where are u based?
-
Vienna, Austria.
-
I can ship anywhere and delivery is usually pretty quick into EU countries via FedEx.
-
I'll certainly check it out! As I've yet to plan some holidays this year, might as well try flying into London.

One and two for me.
Just got my hands onto a Keely though. It's a 2.7 beauty has a great balance.
Also wanted a high grade DP but never gotten a chance to find a good deal on a used one.

Laver & Wood one of the carbocane handles from 7-10 years ago (I think)
Scat
One I moved on but wish I hadn’t was a very grainy Hawk, lovely full profile 2.9 but had so so many bats at the time
-
Yet to try and on the wanted list.
Salix - not sure which model yet.
B3 - 1271 Trott. I'm liking my Beluga and have the impression this will go well too.
Hunts - Custom made with old school stickers.
Robert Pack - I have to pay him a visit methinks.
Carbon handled Puma - Sold on but have the chance to buy back as he's retired.
