So finally ordered a bat from @jonny77 .
I've had some refurbs and bits done, and having seen his bats in person, a Scott bat was going to be bought sooner or later.
Recently had a a bit of bad customer service with a well known brand and being disappointed, I knew it was the time!.. as I knew Jonny would look after me.
I was pretty laid back and blase re the spec.. "base it on the JS175 model, try and get me a thick toe and shoulders with an oval handle weighing 2.09 to 2.10".
Even though I was laid back, Jonny ensured that any tweak wouldn't be an issue. I trusted him to choose me grade 2 cleft, I think it came in at just over 2lbs 10z.. I haven't weighed it since the workshop.
The reason being having seen some of the stock bats in various weights I'd have been happy to bat with them. Happy over the moon, and like most of my bats I am never going to do it justice.
Lessons for other brands... customer service is what will make or break you... exceptional at Scott and a great guy. He's offered to tweak it once i use it in case its not quite right.

Great that you're happy with it mate and thanks for the support. It was a lovely G2 cleft that one and allowed for some big specs. Hopefully the pressing is to your liking too!
Now just got to score some runs with it! 😁 Hope it gets you plenty.

I am liking the green stickers! Healthy shoulders, toe thickness, big swell with good volume throughout - not much to not like! Top work @jonny77 - hope it scores you a lot of runs @Yorkershire

Just put the new green stickers on my bat after a clean up, really liking them so glad you approve. Yeah it was a big bat tbf, no pressure @Yorkershire 😆

Agree with this. Love the stickers. Also love the shape of the toe. More evidence I need to be getting myself one this winter. Well done mate.
