Hello All,
As with most I am sure, I am struggling with the grips on my bat riding up almost every match and me having to re-apply the grip. I was looking at gripgrip as a solution. Considering it isnt very cheap, are there any other cheaper alternates to it in the market or is gripgrip worth the money?

This is the same stuff and is very effective - https://www.screwfix.com/p/self-amalgamating-rubber-tape-black-3m-x-25mm/2115v (https://www.screwfix.com/p/self-amalgamating-rubber-tape-black-3m-x-25mm/2115v)

IIRC, GripGrip is more or less just self amalgamating tape. Available for about a fifth the cost of the branded stuff.

You can also just put a few very small (5mm) drops of shoe goo on the binding at the top and bottom, works a treat.

Smear PVA or Woodglue on the handle. It allows the grip to slide into position, holds it in place when dry but let's go when you need to replace the grip in the future.
-
You can also put a tiny drop of superglue either side of the grip at the base of the handle, only downside to this is that when you come to change your grip, it normally tears and you could be left with a couple of little rubber bits they’ll pick off no problem

An update...the lower priced self amalgamating tape worked as a charm. The grip hasnt moved at all since I put it on! Thanks for the advice.
