Title: Advice on bat condition wcw
Post by: Dansan1 on September 16, 2022, 02:20:25 PM
Hello,
I have bought a second hand wcw bat.
I was pretty excited to get it but on reflection should have probably passed this one by. It seems to have had very little or poor preparation and has damage to the edges and face.  Just wondering whether I should try to knock it in more, get it professionally repaired or try to sell with honest description.  The down side is it was probably over priced and with repairs costs could be close to the cost of a new bat! Any advice much appreciated.

Clearly had a bit of use but get it to a decent bat repairer and it'll still have plenty runs in it. Imagine WCW would be happy to tidy it up and apply some fresh stickers for much less than the cost of a new bat.

Looks like its never had a scuff sheet on which will ofc make it look way more used than a scuff-sheeted bat. Really wouldn't worry about it. Looks like its got a long time to go.
