Just read this moment TCB no longer

A new owner has taken over …

I know a couple of friends have bought in the past and felt owner was a great guy

Yes, saw this twitter. Very sad, but a sign of the times perhaps. Lots of businesses will struggle over the next few years. Especially luxury goods, which in many ways cricket equipment is. I'm sure a lot of players will put off new purchases for a while.

The message seems to suggest someone experienced and in the industry already is taking over …. It’s a small industry wonder who’s coming on board to take things further

If so, good luck Tom. Always been really happy with Ayrtek products and service.

As ever not much gets past Tom 😆

I’ve been upto visit Mark today and collect the remaining stock he had. If anyone happens to be in the market for anything then please shout.

I’ve taken the decision to re-shuffle the businesses in my portfolio and TCB gives me the perfect opportunity to market and sell other brands kit beyond just my own.

Ayrtek Cricket will focus on innovation and product development as some members will know what’s being going on in the background and the frustrations I’ve faced!

TeamTek will focus on teamwear as I’ve partnered with A2 to push that side of things with them as a supplier.

I’m hopeful I can offer a customer service level, product range and insight that previous forum favourites did…IJC, Vikas, et Al.

Hopefully yes, I’ve got to get a few things sorted first as only collected stock today and need to review pricing as the new business is VAT registered.

Good morning CBF folk, fair to say it’s been a busy few days since collecting the stock and taking possession of the business from Mark.

Hopefully those that follow the social channels will have seen things are slowly coming together. I’ve spent the week speaking to suppliers, finding out what potential customers want to see stocked and having some very exciting conversations about colabs to kick things on 👍

Exciting news. TCB was always really helpful under Mark and sounds like that's going to be carried forward under your watch!

No point in trying to flog a dead horse/bat.
