My club has been £50 and £5/match (£10 with teas) for ages. We are about to put it up to £60/£6 or £7. What do you all pay?
-
£130 subs, £8 match fees. £65 sub for students/retired/juniors, £5 match fee.
-
£60 and £10 (BYOT).
-
My club is -
£100 subs (£50 Under 21, £40 Social Team, £40 Colts and £30 Non-Playing)
£10 match fees (£5 if you coach the colts)
These numbers haven't changed for about 5 years.
-
Raised ours this year to £40 subs £5 match fee
-
£20 a month all year
Which gives you club membership and access to training. No match fees so really does encourage you to play as much as you can
-
£260 for family membership. Which given that includes three kids, 2 of which will play a lot of games plus my fee and social membership for Mrs Buzz. Could be a lot worse.
Having said that I give a lot of coaching time which in another world perhaps I could charge for.
Plus £10 match fee.
-
£50 subs for the year which includes your playing shirt & £10 a game.
-
If I was to guess, a lot of these sub £100 memberships are from clubs with bar facilities or clubs that own their ground and can hire out pitches or both?
-
Certainly the case for us Jimbo. Own our own ground, have a bar and a groundsman who does it all for free match fees and beer. He’s the semi retired head greens keeper of a local golf club too which helps. Costs are mounting though, especially agri products, rubbish and insurance.
We run a village pubs/clubs social tournament in august which adds a LOT to bar profits.
For a small village club we started a ladies section last year, and launching a IVs league team this year, so we must be doing something right! Nobody likes fees going up though, but this thread is quite good ammunition to show to any complainers.
-
Saturday club with ground: £35 subs and £7 match fees. This has gone up recently and is now scandalously expensive
Midweek club that plays on college pitches: No subs, £5 match fees
-
New club for me last year
Annual - £120
1st xi game - £10
2nd xi game - £0
Winter nets - £3 a week
Summer / club nets - £0
Owned pitch with groundsman, practice grass wicket cut weekly and stunning ground.
Bar at club, few fundraising events throughout the year.
-
We have enough players who won’t play in the 1st XI as it is, without making the lower teams free!! 😂
Indoor nets are charged to cover the hall costs, same as indoor matches.
We don’t charge for junior matches, or Sunday development games (adults bringing on juniors into hardball games).
-
£50 membership which includes pre match polo and 1 free hire of the pavilion for events.
£10 per match
Social membership £5.00
-
80 quid for the year. Or 8 quid per match. No teas.
Indoor nets/matches are 3 quid a pop.
-
Our annual Senior (24 or over) membership for last season was £160 (a surcharge of £35 applies if not paid in full by the 31st May). Junior (18 to 23) membership was £100 (a surcharge of £35 applies if not paid in full by the 31st May). Colts (18 or under) membership was £85 (including club whites). Patrons & Local Residents memberships are £45
Senior & Junior matches fees including teas were £15 and £10 without tea. Colts playing adult cricket were charged £10 with or without teas.
Next season we will have 5 Saturday XIs (it was 4 XIs last season, the 5th XI will be a development team for colts 13 and over to experience adult cricket) and 1 Sunday XI (who play the majority of their fixtures at the home ground).
Our club has a full time on site groundsman and we hire out a second ground for our 3rd/4th XI fixtures (which isn't cheap).
We have our own bar facilities and a normal Saturday after the game is packed.
We have our indoor nets which are often used by local coaches during the off season.
