Hi all. Thought I'd ask some feedback on what you'd like to see in a wheelie duffle. This is a sample of my latest bag, so have the chance to change things on it.
Things I've specified send happy with....
- 3 Bat external bat tunnels (wheels fight interfere at all)
- Large wide wheels
- Free standing when empty
- Fully padded
- Valuables pocket
- Stowaway straps
- Front opening
To change (My thoughts)
- Remove the printed trainers on the shoe tunnel
- Make the side pockets into large pockets for keepers pads
- Undecided on the top compartment. This is seperate from the rest of the bag, so not sure if this should just be top access for the entire bag?
- Not sure the usb and headphone jack ports are needed? (Can be seen on bottom pic)
Any other suggestions??

Looks a great bag! How do you find the wheels on your back when carrying as a duffle?

It is mate, but deffo style small tweaks will make it even better. They don't touch mate, as generally a touch lower i think. Will check tomorrow though 👍

I’d lose the shoes pic Jonny!
Not sure there would be much call for the jacks either - but that could be me!
Liked the last bag a lot, wheels did dig into the back a little, and you had to be careful putting your bats in, but otherwise great.
Time to pass that one down to the boy and upgrade - let me know when we can order!

Yep, deffo losing the shoe picture. This wasn't requested! 😆 There's no issue with the bats hitting the wheels at all now mate. Its a common issue with most, but i used my bat covers inside the bat tunnels previously and this fixed it. Bats slide in easily in this one tho
The usb port and headphone jack have leads fixed inside, so I guess the idea is you keep a power bank inside and can just plug a phone in? Not sure it's needed tho and who uses wired headphones now 🤷♂️😆

Hi Johnny I have one of your bags, its amazing. It literally has everything I need but the only thing that would be nice is a waste band like in hiking bags. It takes so much weight off your shoulders especially if you're commuting on public transport like me

Thanks mate, appreciate that. This is something i considered, but unsure how it would work when stowing straps away. I appreciate people do travel on public transport to games, but it's maybe a smaller percentage of people. I'll have a think tho and appreciate the suggestion

Personally mate, I'd prefer the top compartment separate for my lid to be in there. Also I don't mind the smaller pockets on the side, you can never have too many separate areas on a bag.
Could one of them have the cool bag material inside for a drinks bottle?
I agree the headphone jack isn't needed but the option for the power bank is a good idea.

Looks a nice bag mate! Like the bat sleeves alongside the actual compartments for them.
Would definitely consider the keeping pad option if I was you…

Bag looks great Jonny.
I don't think there is a need for the headphone jack /cable etc...
I would have the top pocket separate as it can be used for whites and then keeping wet/damp towel separate after the game rather than with all your kit.
The side pockets are always an interesting debate.... as a keeper side pockets that hold my keeping pads as a huge benefit and how I have my current duffle but if your not a keeper I can completely see how that size of pocket isn't really required.

Love the bag mate looks really good. The designated usb port could be a good touch, personally that would be a nice feature. With the headphone jack, as you said I don't think people use wired headphones nowadays.

Not sure I'm the size of collaboration Beats are looking for mate! 😆 Think our skipper would go mental with the younger lads banging out some grime/trap etc pre-match too
The bat sleeves aren't included and aren't really required, just shows they fit if needed. I was thinking of including a small cool bag tho, as people now don't always have teas.

Thanks all. The idea is to have a large pocket at the side which can fit keeping pads, plus a small one further up if possible, best of both then. It's a big bag tho, so trying not to go overboard.

looks a great bag mate, id keep the side pockets as they are, perfect for bits and bobs
im not a keeper so obvs dont have to worry about keeping pads etc

Tough one. As then you're losing the ability to fit the keepers pads in there. Wold hopefully fit two small pockets on the side still and theres a valuables pocket, ollie's the internal mesh pockets too 🤔 Thanks for there'd feedback mate.
This shows how difficult it is designing a bag to please everyone! 😆 Hopefully does show how much thought goes into my equipment tho, rather than just getting an ots design with my logo on.

95cm x 35cm x 45cm approx (HxDxW). I'm hoping to have them by Mid April.
