i'm with you on that pro....in a similar situation too..have shelled out far too much money recently to justify buying anymore equipment...as much as Asad tries to tempt : ]

ive bought 4 bats...2 pairs of pads [3 including my kook bladerunners i cant get rid of]...2 pairs of gloves...2 pairs of shoes......2 bags...helmet and clothing..plus other bits n pieces. i don't need anything more as much as there is always nice new stuff coming out......and for that reason....i'm ooot [ina duncan banatine stylee!]

They are really soft and comfortable gloves. I tried for few seconds and they felt amazing

Doubt it. These top end gloves would be £22-25 if you bought them in India. Add postage and customs (+ Asad's warranty) and the price rightly goes up. How much premium is appropriate is Asad's prerogative.
What do you think is the right price for Newbery SPS gloves?

The Newbery gloves have Cougar leather, it is a style and model name.

not sure mike. but these have the same pittards as on my Salix Pod One gloves. From memory, the label mention some company in Somerset

Okay. However, I am not an expert in these things. You have more knowledge of these things. So the diff types of pittards are from the same company or diff companies (i guess it will be from the same company thought)

There are many types of Pittard's leather available, Cougar looks like it has had hundreds of tiny pin pricks in it.

Just recieved a pair of the blue ones from Asad and they are absolutely amazing! The softest palms I've felt on a gloves along with great flexibility and protection! I couldn't reccomend them more to anyone looking for some new gloves.

They sound great Harry! Have to admit SS probably do the smartest softs on the market IMO.
