Received the first batch of these on Tuesday after seeing them online, improved design and a Hot Pink or Transparent version to pick from.
Sold the transparent batch on the same day so if anyone is after one let me know as I have more coming shortly.

Hi Tom, after many seasons out - I am getting involved in coaching again (U10 - U12). Have you used the club model for this age group range? Trying to save aging shoulders from doing hours of throw downs 🤣
-
The Elite is essentially a stiffer/thicker (behave @FattusCattus ) version of the club model so has the ability to throw it faster. The club seems fine too but it generally comes down to the skill level of the user as to how fast and accurate you lob it down.
For the small price difference I’ve seen most people opting for the Elite version.

Thanks, Tom. Really helpful. Purchase inbound!

They are very different. If you've been using the basic one, the elite takes some getting used to.
Elite seems like harsh treatment of 10-12 year-olds!
Also, be aware that an inexperienced/unpractised person using one of these things could quite easily seriously injure someone (of any age).
-
Trust me - there will be extensive practice before using it with people.
Will likely get one of each.

I've had a yellow one for years, and they are fine for use against kids and adults as well. Also have a longer version (not a sidearm) and they do come out differently.
There is a design flaw in the yellow ones, mine snapped off where it narrows down at the top of the handle, where a hole is drilled to mount the soft rubber grips. I got thousands of throws out of it, but that's where they will eventually break. The other two models look to have a deeper cross section at that point, and should last a bit longer.

I use a Rapid Arm and it’s awesome. Adjustable arm length and head position angle.
-
Is that one of these, @langer17 ?

Other than new Colors, how is the new sidearm elite different?

Stronger, slightly shorter and thicker on the neck. Handle a lot chunkier too. Overall a more solid design. Fires them out quick!
-
So, Sidearm Elite throws faster deliveries than the original (white/blue) one?

Yes the new upgraded version offers the fastest yet, they come in transparent or Hot Pink in the Elite version.

I have one spare.

One of our players got hit in the upper arm from a beamer with someone using one.
