The EOS sales have created a conundrum for me; For the same price I can get a 606 and an 808 for £240 or one Original for the same price.
is the upgrade on willow worth getting just the Original or is it in fact Quantity over Quality?
Thanks
-
Would say no
2 bats for 240 is a better deal
Share the deal for some of us too :)
-
An 808 will be a cracking bat, plus you've got a 606 to use when it's wet, in nets or when the bowlers have a cheap ball. Would go that route myself.
-
Where on earth is this deal!
Having been to all rounder a few weeks bat and tapping up bats, there was little difference in terms of response between the grades of GM they had in stock, So 2 bats get my vote!
1 for nets slightly heavier e.g. 2.10 and one for games e.g. 2.9

Thanks Both.
Gone with the 2 bats; Kryos 808 and Hypa 606.
Hypa feels like a steal in itself at £99 before you even take off the 20% promo.
This is on All rounder BTW.
-
How do you take off the 20 percent ?
-
Code is EXTRA20
-
Thanks
Now what are all rounder like , is it them where i have heard horror stories in past ?
Jeez the online reviews are scary …
-
£80 for a 606 is mad. Just wish gm did a lower middle bat
-
It is a great deal but looking on trustpilot
It’s a lottery whether you receive it
-
Think All Rounder is fine as long as you use a method of payment that has some kind of buyer protection - credit card, etc.
-
Their customer service is apparently poor, but a lot of this came from team wear I think in the main. If you buy with card and they send it with some form of tracking/proof of delivery, which they'll surely do, its not like you'd ever be out of pocket.
-
Will give it a miss but look forward to the pics from the guys that get bargains
-
Youve got to treat trustpilot with a pinch of salt.
In general people are more likely to leave a review after a poor experience.
I found their customer service to be excellent. Took a yorker on the foot which ripped my 3 game old GN velocity spikes. All Rounder just gave a full refund after I returned the spikes.
Back to the bats, they offer free delivery on orders over £75 I think, so worth a punt and just returning if its not to your liking.

@The4thStump tried replying to your message but your inbox is full.
I've heard a few people complain, but every business will have that regardless. There's always someone you can't please and mistakes happen. They're an established business tho, so if the item didn't arrive or you wanted to return it, I'm sure it would be fine. Not like you're buying from an unknown eBay seller or something
-
and I imagine messing up team orders leads to loads of complaints due to the number of inconvenienced people.
but I have heard they aren't great lol.

All Rounders' teamwear business is absolutely shambolic
. Their customer service is the worst I have experienced in the cricket industry. Frequently failing to reply to enquiries about orders and giving misleading information when they do. My club signed up with them as a teamwear supplier at the end of one season but they were so bad that we had dropped them and moved to new supplier before the start of the next season

Picked up a cheap DSC as a wet weather bat for next season, have to say AllRounder were absolutely fine. Price was very good, postage free and shipped out very quickly.
Packaging was fine, bat as described with no damage and a free bat cover, and came in at the weight range requested. Only slight issue is having read their returns policy it is not the easiest to navigate.

Got mine today, took a bit of time and had to follow up but once sent it was on my doorstep the next day. both 2.9.5 and the Kryos picks up like a dream. I'll try and add some photos at some point

606 looks fantastic for the price.
How do they both tap up with a ball/ mallet?
