Title: All time Sports Direct bargain
Post by: willmau5 on December 20, 2023, 06:27:21 PM
So I spotted SD had a SH G2 Slazenger V1000 reduced to £32 on their website, and thought I'd take a punt. The idea was to rebadge it as a Joe Root NB and have it as a spare. I knew it might be a stinker but for £30 it felt like it was worth a punt.

I've just taken delivery and had to share a photo.

I thought the box felt a bit light, but I didn't expect a size 3 to pop out of there!

I went down a slazenger rabbit hole the other night when watching old Carl Hooper clips.

Mike Ashley is trying to buy out the Castor contract with England cricket and have the England teams in Slazenger.

😂😲

I thought you were joking, @Buzz. However, a quick Google tells the full horror...  :o

Grains are hard to see under the layer of magnolia eggshell. The tennis ball I tried it with pinged like crazy though. Picks up like it's 1lb 3.
