Hi- looks like Garrard bats have ceased trading as website nor longer live and not receiving bat drop emails!
I have a G2 Garrard which I love but handle is on way out as a bit to flexible and the odd crack sound- I was thinking of sending back for repair to Garrard but now not an option .
From forum experience is a rehandle worth it or never the same again / fails again soon. And if worth it would any of the bat makers here offer a rehandle? Thanks

I’ve had plenty of bats rehandled over the years and if done properly they have been fine and scored plenty more runs.
Shame about Garrad stopping trading, thought he’d died off on the social media side of things but popped up again but must have now gone.

I always advise it depends on what state the rest of the bat is in. If it's in decent nick, then it's worth the cost (I charge £60 currently plus postage), if not then it maybe isn't and you could just see use it until it snaps.
Not all handles are equal, so I would just ensure you use someone who uses good quality handles. I use the same ones for rehandles that I use in all my own brand bats, which I've not had any issues with. However, I've been sent some from suppliers I would only use as firewood! 😆
Most should come with a full refurb, mine includes stickers (if needed), PU toe guard, scuff, grip etc

Had a few bats rehandled by Jonny, all played nicely afterwards and several have gone on to score plenty runs in other people's hands.

If you want it re-handled by Ed drop me a message mate. @LockieEP
