Morning, quick question, does anyone have any good tips for getting dampness out of the bottom of a bat... Seems damp astro wickets are rubbish for my kids bats!

Not sure how it would work with a cricket bat but I've been told baking soda is good for removing moisture from other wood products so might be worth looking into?

A G clamp with gairly gentle pressure and let it dry as naturally as possible. If it goes too fast you're more likely to get splitting. If it does expend, shrink and dry then a bit of glue will sort that without too many problems.
