Hi,
I was wondering, lets say that a top international batsman has exactly the same specs as me, he gets his bat from whoever, but I get a custom Laver and Wood Signature in the same specs as his Pro bat. Which would perform better?
Thanks

It depends on the willow and bat maker.
-
Ok, in terms of cleft performance then?
-
Again, will depend on the actual wood.
both will make good bats, but different techniques may cause subtle differences

do not read all the hype with either pro's bat or the signature (although i have toy'd woth the idea)
a lot of pro do not care about grains and density as people think most just look at a few and the ones that go best they use.
then there are bat nerds who care about everything i sue some of the bat makers on this forum could tell you more

Just look at the size of the bats in the IPL, density is the biggest factor for a Pro bat.

agred there but most i know and played with when younger were not that fussy at all.
