Title: A Rare Occurrence
Post by: Purist90 on December 06, 2024, 09:40:25 PM
As the title says. You don’t see this bad luck happen so much anymore…
Not a great advert for GN, if it is a GN. 😂

Just a broken handle? Could happen to any bat.

Yeah it happens, not much GN could do about that. Probably bowling high 80s, hits high up on the splice/handle. Just unlucky.

I'm sure sometimes people forget bats are made of wood! 😄

Hi,

No one likes to see this happen to there bats. From the way this has broken I would suggest that the handle itself was already cracked and the way the ball has impacted has caused it to break.

From slowing down and looking the bat looks genuinely GN, I think Oz or India made, I haven't made any orders for the SA team recently.
