Title: H4L rocket factory 🚀

It's been awhile since I've done a review, but I think this deserves a mention.
I'll start with the secs
2'10 - finished, scuffed, gripped
40 + mm edges
Can't measure the spine but would think it's 65 or slightly more.
Huge shoulders as you can see next to the ajk and air it's nearly double the thickness.
Pick up is good, feels to me like a 2'9.
Pinnnngggg!! Outrageous. I don't actually feel as if you can get more performance out of a bat, but it's also the length of the hitting area.
Grains 13/14
Price...£550 a lot of money. Worth it? I guess that is subjective. However it does tick all the boxes in my opinion.
Handle- very important to me. Semi oval medium. It's actually semi oval a long way up towards the top hand which sits nice. Probably thick enough not to need two grips.

It's expensive. But cheaper than top models from SS, sg, GM players. plus the 0% on a credit card always helps 😂

Looks and sounds amazing... must not give in... 🤣

How is it compared to the Salix pair? I am looking at a choice between the two for this season. Had an H4L (lower grade) before but never owned a Salix.

Completely seperate to the bat....where do you get those chevrons from? Look decent

They are decent quality, the H4L came with that grip on but I think it's the same as what I put on the salix bats.
I got them from eBay, I usually WhatsApp the guy now, Send me a DM if you want his number or I can try and dig out the eBay link.

That looks like a proper decent bat!!
With the ever increasing price of willow and bats, the price is not that bad these days!  :(
As was said, the top of the range willow from other brands can be considerably more.

And judging from my experience of H4L bats, this will be an awesome bat.
Very impressed with the proportions! quality!  :D

Lovely bat - I dropped in to visit last week, and the Rocket profiles are pretty similar to Matt's Player's shape, but with more of a duckbill. They all picked up beautifully and were pressed very well. Widths were probably 106-108mm.
