Hi guys, I've been experimenting with putting a new toe on my bat. I've tried shoe goo, it gradually ripped off. I've also tried glueing various rubber toes on, but they just come off also. I'm now getting a bit fed up of the faff, and looking for a simple paint on solution, something not glued on. I was wondering about epoxy or rubber paint, or even something simple like boat varnish or a roofing paint. Ideally it would be relatively simple, hard wearing, look like a finished solution, and not be too much faff. Any ideas please?

Liquid rubber used for mould casting. It's not cheap as a one off as a DIY job and you'll need a sander, but it's doable. Or send it to a batmaker who uses it to do it for you. Mine rarely shift at all and can last seasons
