I realise that.
But each time the ashes roll round i log on here to read you guys bemoan the disappointment that is English cricket. The wishful optimism that inevitably turns to outright distain directed at your own players is one of the highlights of the series and brings me great joy.
But where is it???

It is dead - however for the benefit of our Aussie brethren, that was a shameful, pathetic, arrogant and naïve attempt at test cricket.
If Baz and Stokes want to 'entertain' cricket fans they want to wake up and smell the f**king roses.
Bazball is a switch you turn on and off to win matches - you play test cricket when you need to and you hit the turbo button when you need to. Duckett, Root, Brook and Stokes should know how to bat in that situation, and should be ashamed of themselves - 3.5 an over is fine thanks and getting 300 ahead would've won the match. It's a statement game ahead of the series, instead the Aussies are laughing at us and we need to do all the running from now.
Stupid, stupid, stupid and a golden opportunity missed - you have dropped a huge steaming pie in the biggest series of most of your careers!!!!
