Just wondered what time of year people bought their bats?
Is it Christmas time ready for gentle net sessions or March/April time ready for the new season?
Personally i try and get a bat sorted ready for the start of the season, this year i bought a Fusion with the view of sanding it down and selling it, not that it got much use this season!

usually just before the new stuff comes in. sometimes discounts of up to 200 bucks

I've found just before Christmas and March time are the busiest time for bats. Christmas is just before winter nets and parents will be buying bats as presents. It's also just after the new kit is out.
March is before the new season and just before when outdoor training starts, so people realise they need a new bat then.

How many bats a club player would use in a season. I imagine most would use one or even use one for more then one season but i could be wrong. What are your thoughts on that folks.

Usually at Christmas time or just after or before as that is when my local sports shops are shifting the gear cheap because they are the old ranges.

Yep Christmas time. Not just for bats, but for pads, gloves, helmets, bags etc.

When i see a bargain i buy it!
