Title: Aero Stand Up Bag
Post by: swamidude on March 19, 2010, 06:41:12 PM
Hi guys! Here is my review of the Aero Stand Up Bag.

I really love it, is the simple answer. It looks great (IMO) and is easy to turn and wheel everywhere. It has great compartments for shoes, thing pads, water bottles etc.

I like to U shaped opening lid. It has a lot of space inside.
Unfortunately, when I put my (mens size) pads in, they are so high that the flap which the helmet lies on can not go over flat, instead it must be bent in/outwards. And fitting a bat in requires a bit of jiggling to pads around, especially with my keeping pads aswell! The helmet and gloves fit in the top compartment, which is quite spacious.
The pockets without flaws include the shoe pocket at the front, which holds my spikes perfectly. Also, the side pockets hold my thigh pad, box and inner thigh pad perfectly. Hek, they're even big enough to fit a spare pair of whites in!

The net at the side is perfect for a water bottle. Aero even give you a padlock with the bag.

Overall, I like the bag, but for 70 quid, and very large, it could be a bit better.

Here are the pics:

As you can see, the helmet doesn't site properly because of the uneven divider between the pads section and the helmet section.

Hope this helped for people considering this bag.

I like these bags.
Just took delivery of the 2010 Aero bag that's similar but even more improved.
IMO the best large stand-up bag on the market.

Good choice!  8)

its a full 10 cm longer though, and 5 wider/deeper. I reckon it would've been a bit too impractical for me.
