Which pros use what bats?
Is it true all GM sponsored players have to use GM willow?
-
I think so, although most have them made by Kevin as opposed to the machine made ones
-
i noticed ravi is using an SS ton in the IPL
-
i think he only used it for one match, or at least in the other matches it was stickered up :)
-
I heard about that, used a GM today though lol. May have had a phone call ;)
-
GM have no need to allow players to use other brands, IPL is just knockabout fun and players are being given bats from many company's to use for a little flash money. Ravi used an SS last year and the Indian players apart from the top 2 or 3 will swap brands on a hourly basis as they just use free kit.

to be fair i dont think hayden uses a mongoose at the start of his innings! it looks like a regular sized bat to me!
-
It a Cor3!
Think tom said he personally shipped them out to their players.
-
Hayden's I'm not sure about, he has been switching bats so often. Symonds' definitely is.
-
Makes me laugh as hayden will be the only one with an mmi in most matches, well pretty much all of them, but the dugout always seems full of them when he is playing, how many does he have?? Every match he is in there are tons of them around!
-
3. After his innings a number of his team mates have been practicing with his bats.
-
Thats good then, hoping to sign a few of them up?? ;)
-
Would prefer if they went out and used it FOC like Raina did!

the best things in life are free...

Ah ok Tom ela. (Other in Irish.)
-
you've done really well with that Mongoose stuff.
I was watching the other day when they were doing some continuity and it was "Mongoose.... IPL..." and loads of clips of Hayden smashing it with words like "incredible and awesome
It was like an advert
Only the 1 Billion watching that then
you have to give us a clue as to how much it cost you guys. (i would imagine it is working out good value at the moment!)

The beauty of having a new product in an industry which has stayed very conservative for the past 100 years is people talk about you.
-
tom, since the ipl coverage have you seen a increase in sales of gooses?
-
Definitely.
-
Particularly the MMi3?
-
Yep, it's always outsold the CoR3. But at the moment it's selling fantastically well.
-
Good to hear :)
