what are the benefits of doing this? i always thought it would allow the pad to sit lower on the leg, but i could be wrong.
How do you do it?
+ anyone who has done it/knows about it post your thoughts here. on balence, is it worth doing?

personally just wearing them will do the job that you want they will fit to your legs not you trying too hard to make them fit

I think if you have to snap them to make them comfortable then you may have purchased the wrong pads.
I've never snapped the canes, i've always found (like greg says) that wearing them in normally does the trick.
Also, if you snap them too high or too low it may look uneven and it will undoubtedly compromise the safety of the pads as there will be weak points.

i snapped my keeping pads ages ago, sat too high up above my knee, made it alot more comortable!

what keeping pads were they Dan?

Let's just agree this was an honest mistake and end it at that.? Simple. No need for highnesses if were all equal (sorry been revising Spartan stuff from classics today and thought I'd use it!) :)

You're right, there isnt strictly speaking a sell-by date on topics mwood, I think people get a bit miffed if you bring up a topic from a couple of months ago...ive done it before too! :)

There's no problem bringing up a topic that is relevant again. Its when ppl expect a for sale item to still be there even though the topic is months/years old lol

Thanks guys
