I recently bought a pair and on the rear part of the sole there are two white rubbers. And on them they say "Cut for spikes use" has anybody done this before? I just don't want to try and cut it and them I'm stuck with a divot in them for the season. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have, what do you need to know?
-
well I want to know how to take the white rubber circle out so I can put the spikes in.
-
I cut them off mine, the studs just screwed in like normal ones after that.
-
but how did you cut them off?
-
I just used a stanley Knife.
-
okay, you got any pics? just so I can see what you've done and if it's what I'm talking about. Much appreciated

They weren't mine mate, just did them for a team mate. Could prob get you a photo but not till the season starts. From memory it was pretty obvious what was to be done.
-
okay, no worries. Did you like cut through them or just try and dig it out sort of thing?
-
Had to cut them, if you're unsure of where start at the middle and strip away more till you get as far as you need to be.
-
okay, cheers mate

I got these last year and have the same problem, tried cutting them at the start but it was impossible, not its useless! I figured there was plastic or something on it before hand so left it but if Kulli says you can I'll try again now! lol
-
lol, okay mate, let me know how you get on. I'll give it a go in a minute too ;)
-
Yeah there is a spike hole under there!! :O lol there impossible to get off though, I don't have mine off but I cut through it and can see a place to screw a spike in definitely, cut the spiky bit off (easy enough) then get a small scissors and put one leg in the small hole around the out side and cut (if you get me) lol
-
Actually, scratch that, all you need is to cut the spiky bit off witch is fairly simple :)
-
yep, exactly what I've done :)
-
Success?
-
Yeah for me anyway :)
