Right i am thinking of purchasing these spikes for this season! what is the difference between the century and the openers? is it worth the extra 20-30 quid? or would you recommend something else? cheers

ive got the centurys, they ok but ill be sticking with my adidas 22yrds from last season. im sure a £100 pair of spikes will be top notch! but i cant definitively say whether they would be a good purchase for you christian :)

thats fair enough! fathers purchase for me! little bit of irony there ;) i am not really convinced pinchy has told me there shocking! but i am not too sure. i have had my eyes set on a pair since the first time i saw an indian wear them. i really dont see the difference with them compared to the centurys! i came to the conclusion that i will be standing in the field for a very long time and i will be batting so i want alot of comfort and i thought nikes would be! especially at 95 quid! might go through seedy or pinchy for them though!

The opener are very good and more comfortable than the century and hence worth the extra £££.

I wear a pair of Air Zoom Yorker and find them to be superb, comfort, fit, weight etc etc are all top notch.

Asics are probably better vfm, or Adidas

The Asics Gel Advanced are good but the problem is they will get wet with the dew on the English grounds.
