I've heard this referred to a lot recently, understanding it to be a the profile used by Sachin. Could someone put in to words the characteristics of a profile. I've seen plenty of pics, but always find it hard to judge by eye middle position etc...

I think his profile is:
2'12-3 lb in weight.
Very low middle, with good pick up.
Thickest edges possible.
Very little concaving.
Think thats it, I'm sure I will be corrected but that is my guess.

ive heard that his bats are very short in the blade, allowing a lot more wood for the weight, similar theory to the mongoose cor3, sachin isnt the tallest bloke anyway

Think this was posted a while ago. Not the best video but at least it gives some idea of what it looks like and what he looks for.

So nobody knows how to put it into words? profile a bit of a myth? Already this thread has descriptions that can't agree? Is the SRT What kind of player does the bat suit? What type of pitch? Does the low middle and thick toe make it pick-up slightly heavy? What is it about the profile that makes it any good?
Anyone? Anyone?
