Got some M frames but the lenses have a bit of a scratch in them, how much are new lenses?
-
Depends what type you want, I looked at replacement Radar Lenses they were around £70 for polarized iridium
-
Not a clue... Ill be honest I only want them to look good and maybe provide a bit of protection from the sun.
Are these any good?

Does anyone have any to sell?

Leo, aren't those light enhancing ones? It says for low or flat light. I'm not sure just checking that you don't order something through a false impression.
-
Oh the grey ones are pretty cheap, are they Ok?
-
If they say something like this:
Grey Lens: Medium to bright light. Excellent all-purpose lens offering truer color perception in sunny conditions
and you are looking to use them as sunglasses then they should do the job.
-
I would say get some lenses that are iridium so they give you some aspect of reduction in light, They price around £50 looking at the site you were on
-
Not willing to spend that much Roco, as I said just want them as sunglasses.
Grey ones look like the way to go so far, where are you getting this info tommy?
-
What frame type do you have leo?
-
M frame
-
M frame
Are they the Hybrid, Sweep, Strike is what i meant sorry.
-
The ones that go round... sweep I think, not bothered what replacement lenses I get though, or does only one lense fit the frames?
-
no all the lens types fit the M frame
-
Anyone know what lenses these are that are in them at the mo?

Its hard to say, They could be the vr28 black, as they look similar to the lense i have spare.

Leo - have you ordered your grey lenses yet? If you're planning to use them for cricket, then the best lense to get at the cheaper end of the Oakley spectrum is the VR28 - they will enhance red objects against a green background i.e. a cricket ball against a field. Most pro's will carry this lense in their Oakley array (Vaughan used to always wear them).
I'm pretty sure any M-Frame lense should fit any M-Frame. The Sweep/Hybrid/Strike/Heater refers to the shape of the lenses, not the shae of the frames. Price wise I don't think there's much of a difference between each shape, so it's just a case of personal preference and whatever fits your face. I use Heater lenses, but have friends who prefer strike.
If you could afford to splash out more for some iridium lenses I'd recommend them. Oakley may well be expensive but they are worth it. I have M-Frame Pros with Persimmon lenses for dull days, Fire Iridium for bright days and VR28's for anything in between.
