Title: £480 for second hand 70's bat

I'm giving very serious thought to paying £480 plus postage for a used 1970's bat, thoughts?

Must be the best of the best mike and used by somebody very famous ie viv,border,beefy

I think it is very special, but just going to be a little mysterious for the night to allow some guess's as to why I would part with such money.

Used by a poor batsman, for a very short time.

I guess you're after an aluminium bat?

I was bidding on one in Aus last year which was new, that only went for £420

Seen a few pop up now and then mainly out in Australia and the last one had a rather nice wooden display case with it, not for me though especially at that price.

No worries about the feedback, not one that can be faked I'd guess....... plus friends would collect for me directly.

Yeah providing he can wing you some actual pictures of the bat etc as the one on ebay looks cropped...rare bats as people say and certainly would be a addition to any bat collection

No, was never going to bid on it or pay that much, have got a friend chatting to him directly as they could collect it in person so keep you posted.

The Combat is great, exactly the same dimensions as the Uzi too with a shorter blade/longer handle. Can't wait to get it into a net.
