Thought I would share my first new purchase of the year. A Robert Pack Blue Room SWELL. Made with Light cleft to give huge edges around 54mm. Spec 2lb 14oz (a bit heavier than I would normally use), pick up is superb and feels really well balanced, 7 grains (usually like more), but i liked the part finished bat and went for it as the ping felt good. Had a hit with it in nets and my god does it go. Paid the extra for it to be knocked in ready to play, what a great investment, it flies already and I am sure it will get better. I went for the Blue/Yellow stickers but there are grey/pink, I am more a blue man. Big choice am I going to use the new one or stick with the trusty private bin. Let me know what you think of the Swell.

Looks a very nice big chunky bat! I am sure it pings like a bat out of hell (no pun intended)
-
54mm!!!!!! Jiminy cricket!!!! Thats massive, a monster of a bat - should fly off the bat with that profile, looks like a good investment to accompany the laver!
-
Get a ruler on that edge, have a cleft here with 75mm edges, hope to get it out finished at 60mm so seriously impressed by 54mm.
-
54mm?! Some serious wood in there! Bet that goes...
-
my mistake user error 45mm edges still big enough I hope
-
45mm is more like it from the willow he buys....
-
still big my one with 41mm seems big but this is slightly bigger so is a big bat plus looks sweet

Good old Rob he is a top bloke!!! We have a bloke down here with one of his bats and it is a beauty!!! Not a lot of grains but real nice and i know his customer care and feedback is second to none!!
-
He is top draw, I discussed willow with him and he grades his bats on performance not looks, which suits me. Although I would prefer more grains for look, performance trumps the grain no. Everytime
