REVIEW:
Took this for a proper net today, finally.I really wanted to come on here and say it's just clever marketing, and that this is a toy.... But i can't. The bat picks up heavy, but no where near as heavy as i thought it would, feels pretty normal. the handle is lovely, love the thick chunk at the bottom. Its really nice to play late cuts, and nurdle behind square shots as you can slide your hand down and get right near the striking area, unorthadox yes, but effective. And i think thats the main part of this bat it's unorthodox nature, playing straight through the line, balls go that extra bit further, it is definatly noticable. and when its wide to be hit, my god. I hit the biggest six i have ever struck today, would have cleared the rope by 20m+ and it was against a spinner. I thought this was a curious buy, and was planning to sell next week. but i dont care how much stick from the oppo i get, this will be used this weekend

Looks superb! How much did you pay! I wasn't watching it! I need to get one of those...

£100 buy it now I think. Looks great, as I am know as a kit geek at my clubs. They were very surprised I had not bought a Mongoose over the winter.
-
Think it was a £100
-
was £100, seemed a bargain rated the lowest grade, but willow looks good and i like the heartwood! Bought more out of curiosity then anything else!
-
I would love have a go with one of these. Don't have the funds to buy one but would love to try one.

There's another here if anyone is interested.

They make G4 as well?
-
Actually, I know those labels. They're mine and these bats really ought not be on sale...
-
why?
-
For reasons I won't disclose on here.
-
would these reasons prevent someone from bidding on it i.e. performance- as it didn't pass your quality control checks according to the listing?
-
If it's for negative reasons then i think you should either get the bat taken off or inform potential buyers of the reasons why - if it's because of a positive reason then you can leave them all guessing why :)
-
Could've been a pro's! Has that type of grains
-
Correction- the one this topic is about looks pro. The other ebay one doesn't.

I finally got chance to pick up a Mongoose today (shameless plug alert***) in Lukey Sports in Preston (shameless plug over***)- I was pleasantly surprised - as I'm someone that likes low middle, slightly bottom heavy bats, it picked up pretty well and not 'lumpy' like i thought it would. I know it's not the bat for me - I don't even get picked for our 20/20 side, but would love to have a net with one
