Title: refurb a bat

How can i clean the surface? and can i remove the scuff sheet?

To remove the scuff sheet, peel it from side to side (or commonly known as, against the grain). Do this slowly to ensure no wood comes up with the scuff sheet.

I would recommend getting some good quality sand paper and giving it a sanding, starting with around grit 100 and finishing with grit 400.

Once complete, you can either apply a new scuff, oil it, or leave as is :)

is it true that nail varnish remover clean the cherry marks off the surface?

It does work as have done it on my anti-scuffs and they have come up looking cherry free!

dont you have to warm the suff sheet up with a haur dryer first.
doing it cold can wreak it no?
