Hey Guys,
So today I was at indoor store where a guy had NEwbery C6 in his cabinet. So first I asked him how much was it and he said 290 Pounds. Then later I said its illegal bat so there were two guys sitting (store dude) so one of them got shocked and looked at me and said "How is it illegal"? I said it uses carbon core handle which is illegal bat. He said "No its not!". I said "yes, it is!" I said few times so did he and then I stopped. I even told him look at the bat as it doesn't have any splice
Later he started to explain me that there are two type of handles one is 12 cane and second one is one piece so this bat in display is one piece. As I was in no mood to argue with him so I kept listening him like a stupid (lol). To further extent he was like graphite bats were illegal and so and so (I knew all that crap so...)
Then I left
So my question is that was he right saying its one piece handle? If so then what exactly is it?
Or
I was right?
Appreciate it!
Cheers

The carbon handle is only illegal for First class cricket and above....

I wouldnt have bothered engaging in any conversation with him after he quoted 290 quid for the bat :D
