James Anderson, Ian Bell, Stuart Broad, Paul Collingwood, Alastair Cook, Andrew Flintoff, Stephen Harmison, Monty Panesar, Kevin Pietersen, Ryan Sidebottom, Andrew Strauss, Michael Vaughan.

I think it is a good thing that Vaughan got a central contract as i think his batting will improve now he hasn't got the responsibility of captaining.

Hmm... Wouldn't Have Given Vaughan One Myself, As To Me It Suggests That They Expect Him To Be Back Playing For England In The Next 12 Months, For Me He Shouldn't Be Anywhere Near The Winter Tours, And Unless He Does Something Extraordinary Early On Next Season, He Won't Warrant A Place In The Ashes Squad.
However, Something Tells Me He Will Be In It No Matter What, I'm Starting To Believe This Closed Doors Special Club Idea About The England Squad... Just Look At Cook In The Stanford T20 Squad...Why?
On Another Note I Reckon Prior Should've Been Given A Central Contract, Not One Of These Incrimental Contracts, As For Me His Keeping Displays In The Onedayers Show His Ability Behind The Stumps Has Vastly Improved And He Also Has Genuine Talent With The Bat.
But Like Was Said On Sky Sports, Instead Of Making A Tough Decision, The Ecb Have Chosen To Make No Decision At All

Giving Vaughan a contract is a joke he has not earned it and has been given one simply due to a nice little clique within the ECB and England dressing room. The fact no keeper has a contract yet again suggest the ECB are still to make there minds up on who is the best man for the job, and from what I've seen this summer, young Davies at Worcestshire is the most worthy candidate as he could be given time to grow into the role and be a long term keeping success, however I don't disagree with Prior he has had a very good summer and deserves his shot, but long term I don't see him as the answer as he blows hot and cold with the gloves, when the pressure is really on.
