Title: Removing stickers from bat
Post by: Fetchthatone on May 12, 2010, 04:47:01 PM
Hi there,

I am wanting to remove the anti-scuff sheet and all the bat maker's stickers off my bat, and would like to do so with minimal effect on the bat itself, and what technique would you recommend? Just ripping them off? Thanks.

Go across the grain i.e the width of the bat and be patient!

If it leaves a mark as to where the sticker was previously is that fine?

As I just started and it did that, and the wood seemed very dry beneath the sticker.

No, looks a bit poor. Lightly sand down, add some turps and oil. Think it should be fine, check through other similar topics...
