Can i just say i hate them, batted in a match against them first time, and i got out for 0.
just couldnt pick it dunno how to explain but it was just like, what the... and it was passed me.
just a point i dont like them thats all

I have found batting against the orange balls easier if anything. I dont have the best reaction times, and especially in midweek games, using orange balls aid me as I can pick them earlier. I have no idea why, but I swear they come off the bat nicer as well.

I like the pink ones best. They too seem to ping off the bat more resoundingly.
-
maybe its just being so used to normal corkies

Can i just once again i get out for 0 against them, i dont know what it is, i just cant pick them, maybe its somet up with my eyes
-
Or it's a mindset your into, probably more likely tbh, things like this are very psychological....

I reckon if you played and struck a lovely 4 or middled a few you'd be fine! I get like it with particular bowlers and find myself needlessly getting out to them at nets.
-
no its definitely something visual.
-
partially colourblind? or something similar?
maybe see someone about it if it continues

oh sorry, well you may want to see someone, or practice with a few to adjust your eyes, you play with a whote ball at all? you struggle with that?
-
nope never used a white, but it just seems i cannot pick the orange, think im gonna have to buy one.
-
Yeah purchase one, and practice practice practice, then if you really cant pick it, go see someone! That's what i'd do anyway. You have any eye problems currently (i sound like an optician!)
I certianyl couldnt imagine using one! I'm just baout used to the yellow bowling mahcine balls!
