Weird question but wonder if it's possible to make a bat feel heavier? Used my new 2.9 in the nets today and it felt so so light for me! I was playing everything so early!!!
Any suggestions dudes??

Lead tape, although its not very safe!
-
what is that and why is it not safe mate?
-
Maybe some tape around the top stickers of the bat, doesnt look pretty but could add 1/2 oz to it...
-
take as much weight away from the top! the heavier the top the lighter it will pick up. What grip have you got? maybe just try a single chevron grip

This is lead tape...

Its not safe because its lead, which is poisinous

Haha think i'll avoid the poisonous things.... thanks for showing me tho mate
-
Apparently they coat it in something though to stop it from coming out?
-
Lead is only really poisonous if you ingest it, which i hope you dont plan to do :)
I worked a summer job in a factory that fitted lead flashing to cavity trays.......twas the summer of 69!!!

The lead tape will work, to protect it, just put some fibreglass tape over the top - this will also help keep it attached.
I have put lead tape on a handle to help with pick up before now, but putting it on the back of the bat, probably near the toe, with some tape over the back will add weight to it.

Doesn't that break the law that states the blade must be made solely out of wood?
-
Technically yes, but then so many bats break the laws at club level upwards, it seems that it is only a problem here in cricket geekland.
-
In what terms mike? Do you mean handles etc? Or laminates?
-
Various little things like the amount of tape wrapped round a bat, I think add ons are fine, repairs that are required are fine even if they improve the performance of the bat.

Stick a few coins to make it heavy. you can also balance it accordingly
