I was just wondering what people have enjoyed more.....
For me it would have to be the T20 World Cup!
I thought the Indian Premier League was a bit boring this year. Feel that the standard of cricket isnt that great in the IPL and the constant sponsoring of every piece of action is shocking (citi moment of success, or whatever it is). It just seems a bit more exciting because of the ridiculous levels of Razzmatazz surrounding it!!!

I have enjoyed the T20 world cup far more, felt like the IPL was slapping me round the face with advertising, and the standard is so much higher!

I have enjoyed T20 world cup.. it would have been sweeter if India is there.. But Now I want Final between England and Pakistan...

IPL was broadcast free in the UK, which probably swings it for me however the quality of cricket and the moral value of the game is better upheld in the WT20, not a fan of the mass of branding

Definitely the T20 WC. No contest. The IPL is more entertainment than cricket. Sure it has its fair share of thrills and spills, plus we get to see some great cricketers that have left the international stage (Gilly, Hayden, Kumble and Tendulkar {in T20s} etc.), but the World Cup is the World Cup. And it wont happen again so often in the future. It was a freak thing this time around, and they had to schedule it early in order to avoid conflict with the FTP (if i remember correctly).

World Cup T20 gets my vote...IPL seems to be a bit rushed and games go past without having the time to see them. Hard to pick out a decent contest as there are so many games to fit into the 3 weeks schedule.
1st game of the world cup T20 seemed weird when there wasnt branding or advertrs appearing every other ball.....a change for the better i think but the IPL is obviously more brand/marketing orientated with the cricket squeezed in between i think...perhaps some limitations would get more of a focus on the cricket again?!
