Title: Long Blade to Standard Blade
Post by: peplow on May 15, 2010, 12:06:49 AM
Can bats be converted (chopped) professionally from long blade to standard blade (to make a sh normal bat) without comprimising on weight, pick up and performance??

Cheers

In theory it would be possible just the middle , COM would move down 2 inches

Does the long blade currently have a normal SH handle?

In order to avoid moving the middle, could you have the batmaker take half from the top and half from the bottom of the bat? It would mean they need to reshape the toe as well as the shoulders.

well it deosnt matter if the middle moves, as further down makes no difference to my game imo. Was just wondering tbh, thinking about it the splice etc etc would have to be redone!
