I'm watching the test match now and I am a bit suspect about the size of his bat. I know he's a big guy but that is huge!
-
He does use 3lbish bats, they're the most unwieldy lumps ever. 2" longer blade on them too so they don't pickup light
-
I heard he uses 3lb bats and he is a big boy so if anyone can weild one he would
-
3lbs!!! No wonder he crushes it down the ground.
-
Pollards not doing bad with his 2lb10 at the mo
-
a 3lb monster would take me a day to play a shot
-
I suppose they could be laminates so would look huge in comparsion to 'normal' bats
-
Lamination does not increase size, just increases power.
-
Ahhh I thought both nice to know
-
were talking moisture contents
-
Or natural density.

Lamination does not increase size, just increases power.
ahh didnt know that..they always look massive so assumed they were engineered to be bigger rather than pingier..you live and learn
-
surely if you stick a lump of wood on the back of a bat to make a laminate then it makes the bat bigger!
-
it not a full bat then added wood i think it best mike or somebody explain better than me
-
here we go! ( sorry ! ;-) )
-
It's all on here somewhere in detail.

But if people on here know, how come...
