I'm watching the test match now and I am a bit suspect about the size of his bat. I know he's a big guy but that is huge!

He does use 3lbish bats, they're the most unwieldy lumps ever. 2" longer blade on them too so they don't pickup light

I suppose they could be laminates so would look huge in comparsion to 'normal' bats

Lamination does not increase size, just increases power.

ahh didnt know that..they always look massive so assumed they were engineered to be bigger rather than pingier..you live and learn

surely if you stick a lump of wood on the back of a bat to make a laminate then it makes the bat bigger!
