Last night i caught one right off the toe end with my joker and it has lifted part of the face from the toe. I have taken it to a bat repairer who says it is just a case of glueing the toe and then fitting a toe guard. Will this be fine or should i be doing something different. The spilt is about 1" - 1-1/2" long and open about 1/4".
Must say i nearly cried when it happened! lol

well i'd listen to the bat repairer, he is probably right :)
bad times thuogh, i hate it when that happens to my bats!

i just hope the fix goes ok and doesn't affect the performance. I hate damaging a bat that goes really well.

may make the toe a little bit dead? although that wont make that much difference to performance if your a good batsman ;)
