No wonder he smashed that streaker!

He's a unit, I'd have thought his bats would be on the weighty side.

Tom is he really specific with bats or just uses anything that goes well?

Would you sell it?

Quite specific yes, I had to collect this to get it copied as he didn't like the shape/pickup of the 2 I gave him last week (I got them made from memory!)

Most of the players though don't specify much more than a bow, is a decent size, goes nicely and picks up well.

And no, if we ever do sell a Hayden/Symonds bat it will be in a charity auction or it may go to a museum. One of Hayden's MMi3s is in a display cabinet in the Lord's museum.

Ah good theory I seem to remember mr irani using a 4lb bat in a t 20 before even I would stubble with that

Most players will lighten their bats at the end of their careers, Tendulkar has dropped 5 ounces in 5 years and he is still at the top of his game so players like Hayden and Symonds who are purely staying on for the IPL cash will need every aid possible.

I like the profile of Symonds bat, it looks like a number of bats I've seen from Australian players, big lower edges and toe.

It looks as though it still has some 6's left in it, just one gentle net can't hurt?
