Title: scuff sheet effect on rebound

does a high quality scuff sheet increase the rebound of a bat ??? for a well run bat does that apply ?

thinking out loud here, if it was applied with a high tensile force could it not increase rebound ?

It will decrease the performance, but by such a small amount that you would not notice, the benefits in keeping a bat together far outweigh any loss.
