Title: Custom Spray Day
Post by: Ayrtek Cricket on July 29, 2010, 04:02:36 PM
As a rare event I had some free time on my hands so thought i would have a little experiment with some of the paint colours we have in stock along with some masking tape and having to feel a bit "arty".....

1st step was priming and spraying the shells their base colours that I wanted to use.....went for orange and some baby blue  8)

Once these had dried off out came the masking tape and masked off a few areas in some pretty patterns to air my creative side!

With the areas masked off they would obviously remain that colour once the top coat is added and the tape was peeled away.....went for a graphite grey finish on them both as thought it would help to highlight the more vibrant colours below a bit better....

And now for the final outcome....

Look forward to seeing what people think and if there are any suggestions on what you'd want to see next??? ???

They look lovely but do not let Colesy see the black and blue one if he still has his Electric Blue fetish!

The only 2010 grill we had left which was a rejected sample due to the gap being far too big! every other grille got snapped up by either the Warwickshire squad or people wanting them :) havent even got one for myself!!!!

Bit of sales and marketing for you there Joseph....;)
