Title: Additional cricket glove protection?

Wondering is it actually possible to get finger inserts and padding to put on the outside of your gloves
and just tape it down; because i remember seeing sachins old gloves (bas blitz) like this.

Anyone have any idea if cricket stores sell this sort of stuff?

There really isn't much call for it with the improvements made to glove design.
