Title: Initials on Handle

While refurbing my Icon LE I saw written on the top of the handle the initials AK. I was just wondering if anyone knows what this means or whether it was who made/shaped it?

New and direct from GM.

Something to do with the date of manufacture, because when I sent back an old GM for refurbishment, they were able to tell me it was a GM Purist from April 2002!
