What is a salix rogue? Is it a salix with a cosmetic fault or whatever?

Yes I believe so mate. Factory 2nds.
-
They're factory seconds - rejected for either cosmetic reasons (e.g. big knots in the wood) or have cracks from pressing that have been repaired. The prices range from as cheap as £50 to £175 I believe. I have one that I bought for £75 which had a pressing issue, but Andrew Kember assured me that it would perform as well as many of the normal bats; just not last as long. It's one of the best bats I've ever used.

i would say more like cosmetic faults than any thing else. Picked up some beauties from the factory(Quite a few Grade 1 model)
have a look at Clearance section on the web site.
