Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of any top batmakers who sell factory seconds/rogues with minor faults, bt still good on performance? I'm thinking newbery,warsop etc etc

Not interested in Readers bats.

They are all heavy though.

Newbery apparently have a bucket full of them at the chalet, not sure if you need 'contacts' to go there though... i have a feeling you do.

I reckon your best bet is to ask the companies and see if they have any lying around and ask for a good price.

Salix for example only offer them to people who visit the workshop... but have some really cheap ones if you do apparently!

i can get you some 2nds mate from a good source and pritty cheap..

things like false grains and stuff....

It's things like this that make me wish all the bat manufacturers weren't all based 100's of miles away :( :(

Are they from chase mate, what sort of price roughly?

Also whats this 4 lead clover bat you talk of, pm me if its a bit hush hush.

4 leaf clover raymond is the best bat they produce mate

of the 4000 bats dan produces a year maybe 30-40 make the grade mate....

the best of the best.....

and please do not ask me can i get them cheap there always a demand for them so there quite rare apart from mine which is not for sale

Whoah, he's had a very good year. 4000 bats for a boutique brand is phenomenal, even if he is making the odd one for different companies.

well  dom the company is getting bigger with the extra batmaker employed now....

maybe 4000 was a tad high but it's around the figure
